WASHINGTON (Reuter) - The remains of an American correspondent who was captured in Cambodia during the Vietnam war have been recovered and identified, the Defense Department said yesterday. It said in a statement that his remains were the fourth to be recovered and identified of five NBC and CBS news people captured in Cambodia on 31 May, 1970. Welles Hangen, 40 when he was caught, was a veteran of the Korean War. Experts will begin a new search today for remains of up to 21 Americans still missing.
