SAN FRANCISCO - A spider-like robot was sending back valuable scientific data from inside an active Alaskan volcano, scientists said. The eight-legged Dante II robot was in an active crater of Mount Spurr, 90 miles west of Anchorage, which constantly spews rocks and sulphurous gases. Reuter
