Rubio questioned

The former governor of the Bank of Spain, Mariano Rubio, 62, was interrogated by government lawyers over allegations of tax fraud and insider trading in an inquiry sending shock waves through the government of the Prime Minister, Felipe Gonzalez, reports AP from Madrid. They were trying to decide whether charges should be brought against him following reports that he had obtained some 130m pesetas ( pounds 620,000) from insider trading and had subsequently not declared the money.
