Saudis ask for credit

Saudi Arabia needs more time to pay for some dollars 30bn ( pounds 20bn) for US weapons it has ordered and is asking to stretch out payments, Reuter reports from Washington. The Washington Post said that the Saudi Ambassador, Prince Bandar bin Sultan, told defence contractors and officials last month that Riyadh needed more time to make payments.
