A woman says she was sexually assaulted by a man who took advantage of her tendency to faint when she heard the word 'sex', AP reports from Cincinnati.

The woman alleged William Gray, 42, learnt of her condition, uttered the word and molested her while she was unconscious. Gray pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity to felonious sexual penetration.

A psychiatrist said a condition known as conversion hysteria can cause paralysis, loss of voice, seizures or fainting in response to a word.
