A cult that has kept hundreds of federal agents at bay for 39 days began celebrating its Passover a day earlier than expected, raising hopes for an earlier end to the siege, Reuter reports from Waco.

David Koresh and his followers began their Branch Davidian Passover on Tuesday and the holiday should end on 13 April, an FBI agent said.
