Singapore - The government rejected the report of a Philippines presidential commission that said Flor Contemplacion, a Filipina maid, was hanged unjustly for a double murder in 1991, saying its findings were based on "nothing more than hearsay testimonies". President Fidel Ramos has promised to cut diplomatic ties with Singapore if the commission found Contemplacion innocent. AP
