Singapore said it would lift distribution curbs it imposed last year on the Economist for failing to publish an official response to allegations by a former opposition MP, AFP reports from Singapore. The statement said the Economist would not be required to appoint a local distributor nor to have its copies marked with stickers stating it was approved for sale.
