Budapest - A Socialist-led coalition took power in Hungary yesterday, ending four years of conservative rule and capping the rebirth of former Communist reformers' political resurrection as 'New Left' social democrats. Gyula Horn, foreign minister in the reform Communist government that was ousted in a landmark general election in 1990, won approval as Hungary's new prime minister by a vote in parliament of 265 to 93.
