Jerusalem (Reuter) - Israel said yesterday that troops killed three Palestinian demonstrators in the occupied West Bank. The army said troops arresting a wanted man fired at stone throwers in the West Bank village of Tamoun, killing two people. Both Palestinians and the army said a 17-year-old youth from the West Bank village of Toubas was shot dead by soldiers on Sunday.
The Israeli army released two journalists who were held while covering clashes between troops and Palestinians in the Gaza Strip. Taher Shriteh, a reporter, and Marwan al-Ghol, a cameraman, both Palestinians, were arrested on Sunday.
