MOGADISHU (AFP) - Italian and Australian troops from the US-led Operation Restore Hope shot dead four Somalis in separate incidents at the weekend as sporadic violence continued. US troops seized a large number of arms and mines in the port of Kismayu.

Representatives of Somalia's 15 factions agreed on an agenda and a guest list for a UN-sponsored reconciliation conference on 15 March in the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa.
