Spain honours Carlos Fuentes
The Mexican novelist, professor and former diplomat, Carlos Fuentes, won Spain's Prince of Asturias award for Literature, in recognition of his contribution to Spanish letters, AP reports from Madrid. The award is one of eight prizes presented annually and considered the Hispanic world's version of the Nobel Prize.
