Spanish police arrested 34 people in a swoop on drug traffickers in the southern region of Andalusia on Monday, officials said. Reuter reports from Seville.
The action, involving 150 paramilitary civil guards, was the third major crackdown since 1991 on a big hashish smuggling and money laundering ring in the area, apparently with links to the Italy's Mafia.
