A would-be thief came to a sticky end when he began sniffing the glue he was stealing from a shop in the Brazilian city of Belo Horizonte, Reuter reports from Rio de Janeiro. Overcome by the fumes, the man collapsed, upsetting a tank of glue and sticking himself to the TV Globo said. He lay there for 36 hours, unable to tear himself free, before firemen cut him loose.
