A sewing-machine operator at a US tuxedo plant allegedly admitted to kidnapping his boss and holding him in an underground dungeon for 12 days in hopes of getting a dollars 3m (pounds 2.1m) ransom, a prosecutor said, Reuter reports from New York. Fermin Rodriquez, 38, alleged ringleader in the kidnapping of Harvey Weinstein of Lord West Tuxedo Co, appeared in court with his brother, Francisco Antonio, 30. Both were ordered to be held without bail.
