MOSCOW (Reuter) - Striking Russian air traffic controllers returned to work after one day because of pressure from angry passengers. 'We stopped striking because airports were full of passengers who were sometimes pushed to their limits,' Vladimir Konusenko, head of the controllers' union, said yesterday. 'They were ready to take on the air traffic controllers and tear them to pieces.'
