Sweden permits gay marriages
Sweden's parliament approved a law allowing homosexuals to marry but stopped short of granting them the same full rights as heterosexual couples, Reuter reports from Stockholm. Under the law, couples of the same sex will be able to wed but partners will not be allowed to adopt children or have children by artifical insemination.
