Swiss authorities have launched a hunt for a fleet- footed former footballer who allegedly pulled off one of Switzerland's biggest-ever bank robberies, AP reports from Chiasso. A spokeswoman for the Union Bank of Switzerland confirmed newspaper reports that about 1.4 tons of gold worth 20m Swiss francs ( pounds 8.5m) had been taken from its bank in the southern town of Chiasso.
