Switzerland yesterday protested strongly against Turkey's request for it to recall its ambassador in Ankara, Reuter reports from Berne. Turkey has asked Switzerland to recall its ambassador and two other diplomats within a week in reprisal for Berne's demand for the lifting of the Turkish ambassador to Switzerland's immunity.
