CTapie to appeal against prison term

Paris - The bankrupt French tycoon and former government minister Bernard Tapie has appealed against a one-year prison sentence for rigging a football match when he was Marseille club chairman. He will remain free until the appeal is heard, probably in the autumn. Reuter
