Tbilisi appeals for international aid

Refugees crowd around a helicopter in the village of Chubery to collect bread yesterday. Thousands of Georgians have fled from Abkhazia after an assault by rebels and gone to the mountain region of Svanetia. Tbilisi has appealed for international aid.
