20 May 1999, Georgia: Six pupils wounded at Heritage High School, allegedly by TJ Solomon, 15, a pupil.

20 April 1999, Littleton, Colorado: Twelve pupils and a teacher killed by students Dylan Klebold, 17, and Eric Harris, 18, who both committed suicide.

24 March 1998, Jonesboro, Arkansas: Five killed by Mitchell Johnson, 9, and Andrew Golden, 11.

1 December 1997: West Paducah, Kentucky: Three killed and several injured by Michael Carneal, 14.
