Washington (Reuter) - The acting US Army Secretary, John Shannon, has been accused of shoplifting a skirt and blouse and put on administrative leave, officials said on Friday. An army officer said store detectives stopped Mr Shannon at the base shop at Fort Myer in Virginia.
