Top Chinese envoy quits in Rome
ROME - One of China's top diplomats in Rome disappeared and the embassy said he had 'resigned' from his post. A mission spokesman said Yu Quanxi, a political counsellor who had served in Italy for about two years, left the embassy more than a month ago and had made no further contact. Asked whether Mr Yu had defected, the spokesman said: 'I don't know'. Reuter
