Top job for peace broker
Terje Roed Larsen, a Norwegian foreign ministry adviser who helped broker the Israeli-PLO accord, has got a top UN job working for peace in the Middle East, Reuter reports from Oslo. As a deputy secretary-general he is to co-ordinate UN relief and development efforts in the region.
