Zakho - Two men were killed and 27 people injured yesterday when a Turkish train fell into a river after hitting a mine planted by Kurdish rebels, writes Hugh Pope.
Security forces later clashed with rebels of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) at the scene of the tragedy and one soldier was killed.
