JOHANNESBURG (AP) - Police yesterday arrested two Germans on charges of attempted murder as they continued an inquiry into German links to white extremists opposing next month's elections. Horst Klenz and Alex Neidnelein were arrested north of Johannesburg; both had firearms but offered no resistance. In a shooting last week police killed one German and wounded another. Mr Klenz was allegedly involved but escaped, police said. Two police patrolmen were injured in the clash, which began when the Germans allegedly opened fire with an AK-47 when police approached their car.
