UK ferry refused landing rights

Spanish officials allowed a British ferry sailing from the Moroccan port of Nador to dock in Almeria but refused to let its 63 passengers disembark, AP reports from Almeria. Spanish officials blamed the lack of customs agents, but London-based Cenargo International, operators of the Scirocco ferry, said that was a pretext to maintain a Spanish monopoly on ferry services between Spain and North Africa.
