BAGHDAD - A United Nations team left Baghdad yesterday for Russia carrying an unspecified amount of enriched uranium confiscated from Iraq under Gulf war ceasefire resolutions, a UN spokesman said. The uranium will be stored in Russia until the International Atomic Energy Agency decides what to do with it. The UN Special Commission on Iraq believes there is no more nuclear fuel left in Iraq. The shipment was the second consignment of uranium removed since UN inspectors started monitoring Iraq's nuclear programme after the 1991 war. Reuter
