UN troops yesterday shot dead a pregnant Somali woman who was selling tea outside a Mogadishu hospital, Reuter reports from Mogadishu. Witnesses said the woman, Halima Khalif Ibrahim, was killed in her stall in front of the Benadir Hospital complex when unidentified troops opened fire from the top of a Pakistani-controlled checkpoint next to the main Unosom compound.
