PHNOM PENH (Reuter) - Three Bulgarian UN peace-keeping soldiers in Cambodia were killed in an overnight attack in Phum Preak, south of Phnom Penh, a UN spokesman said yesterday. The small-arms and mortar attack, believed to have been carried out by the Khmer Rouge, is the most serious yet against the peace-keepers since the UN began its Cambodian operation in March 1992.
