MOGADISHU (Reuter) - Two US marines may be court-martialled for using excessive force against Somalis, a US military spokesman said yesterday. One marine shot and wounded a Somali youth who tried to steal his sunglasses and the other shot dead a young Somali who rushed towards his vehicle in Mogadishu. He said he thought the boy was holding a grenade or explosive device, but no object was found. Fragments from the shot wounded two other boys.
