The United States is planning to impose sanctions against China soon for allegedly exporting sensitive missile technology to Pakistan in breach of its pledges, according to a US official, Reuter reports from Washington.

The sanctions, expected to be announced as early as this week, could halt hundreds of millions of dollars in bilateral hi-tech trade.
