HANOI (Reuter) - Vice-president Nguyen Thi Dinh, 72, a heroine of her country's wars against the French and the Americans, has died in Ho Chi Minh City. She became deputy commander of the South Vietnam Liberation Armed Forces in 1965 and was appointed brigadier-general in 1974. A former Communist Party central committee member, she was chosen as a vice-president in 1987.
