FLORALA, ALABAMA (AFP) - H T Mathis, impeached as mayor of this town near the Florida border four years ago, is seeking election on a platform that includes a promise to abstain from black magic. In his four years as mayor, he accused a police chief of being a witch, sprinkled 'voodoo power' around City Hall and called a midnight news conference, showing up in a white turban and red bathrobe with a rubber snake around his neck.
