The FBI says it hopes the latest batch of releases from the Branch Davidian cult compound is a positive sign, AP reports from Waco. At least seven more cult members left the group's armed compound on Sunday.

Later in the day, the FBI resumed playing tapes of past negotiations on loudspeakers surrounding the compound. The tactic had been abandoned on Saturday in deference to the cult's Sabbath. Also, for the first time, a searchlight lit up the compound and surrounding sky.
