Sydney - A war of words between Vietnam and Australia over human rights deepened when Vietnam described as a 'deplorable over-reaction' Canberra's cancellation of the visit of a parliamentary delegation to Hanoi, writes Robert Milliken.
The dispute centres on an interview on the BBC's Vietnamese service with a delegation member, Quang Luu, a Vietnamese-Australian, who said the 'essential purpose' of the visit was to 'examine' human rights in Vietnam.
