Sweden may force public bodies to ensure that at least half the members of their governing boards are women, said the secretary of the Swedish opposition Social Democratic Party, Reuter reports from Stockholm. 'If we don't achieve 50-50 status in the next couple of years I think parliament will need to bring in quotas,' said Mona Sahlin.
