The German novelist, Sandra Paretti, ended a battle against cancer with a drug overdose and announced her death in newspapers, with thanks to those who advised her on suicide, Reuter reports from Zurich. 'I had a pleasant and beautiful life. Like a Mozart symphony, it led directly to a pleasant and beautiful finale bursting with impatience,' she wrote in the death notice.
