Moscow (Reuter) - President Boris Yeltsin has pardoned the son-in-law of former Soviet leader Leonid Brezhnev, half- way through a 12-year jail sentence for corruption, the daily Trud reported. Yuri Churbanov, 56, a former deputy interior minister, was convicted in 1988 of amassing several million dollars in bribes in an Uzbekistan cotton fraud.
