Yemen appeals for refugee aid
GENEVA (AFP) - Yemen's neighbours were refusing to help spread the load of sheltering Somali refugees fleeing civil war and famine, the Yemeni Prime Minister said yesterday. 'Now the international community must share the responsibility,' he said as Germany offered emergency aid. Yemen has taken in almost 40,000 Somalis this year.
