Yehud - Dozens of armed Yemeni Jews surrendered on Friday after police surrounded the house near Tel Aviv in which they had barricaded themselves. The two-day siege ended when the authorities agreed to set up a commission of inquiry into the fate of about 1,000 Yemeni Jewish children who disappeared when their parents emigrated to Israel in the 1950s. The Yemenis say the children were kidnapped for adoption by European Jews. AFP
