A YouTube star spiked several women's drinks in a social experiment that highlights how dangerously easy it is to get drugged on a night out.

Joey Salads, a popular YouTube prankster, has created a video of him slipping ‘drugs’ into the drinks of unsuspecting members of the public whilst they wait at bars.

The video sees him slip tablets into the drinks of three unsuspecting women in broad daylight.

On each occasion, the YouTuber’s movements go undetected. When the women then go to take a sip of the drinks, Joey reveals what he has done as part of the experiment, much to the women’s shock.

In the video, which Salads says is not staged, he explains what led him to organise the experiment, telling viewers: “Date rape is a big problem in today’s society. So I’m out here at a bar today and I’m going to figure out how easy it is to drug a girl.”

Since being uploaded to YouTube on Monday, the clip has been watched more than two million times.

Salads sparked debate with a similar viral video last month in which he showed how easy it can be to abduct a child.
