The luxury of the new flats available in London’s Battersea Power Station has been revealed, with pictures showing off their spacious and rooftop views of the River Thames.

But despite the pictures only just being released, only a few of the 254 brand new homes are still available on the market, with a starting price of £980,000.

Images of ‘The Power House’, the show room apartment for the new flats have been released as part of the completion of phase two of the seven-phase renovation of the Grade II listed Power Station.

Exposed brickwork and oak chevron flooring, a free standing copper bath, custom concrete kitchen work-tops, floor-to-ceiling glass panels and polished concrete floors, complete with access to the roof-top terrace will be on display to prospective buyers.

Taking inspiration from the classic and elegant designs of the 30s and 40s, interior designers Michaelis Boyd Architects have described their designs as “refined industrial-authentic, highly tactile and visually dramatic”.

Raw materials have been used in the design to reference the art deco heritage of the decommissioned coal-fired power station, which opened in 1933, while the apartments also boast the “best in class” of modern technology and specification.
