The American Museum at Bath is holding a Garden Day on Monday (10.15am- 5pm) when Rosemary Verey will talk about American plants in English gardens and Elizabeth Braimbridge of the Langley Boxwood Nursery will show how to grow and clip these essentially . At the museum is a recreation of George Washington's famous garden at Mount Vernon, complete with box hedging, old-fashioned roses and picket fences. The day course costs pounds 25, including lunch.
