THE HARDY Plant Society, which was set up more than 30 years ago for gardeners with a special interest in herbaceous plants, is publishing a series of booklets on the most popular families, to encourage new gardeners to experiment with new varieties. It has already produced booklets on hardy geraniums and hostas.
