The Lucas factory in Finchley, north London, which stopped manufacturing in 1989, has been bought by Fairview New Homes for conversion to 178 flats and houses. Prices for flats in the 1920s building will start at pounds 37,000 and rise to pounds 105,000 for a 4-bedroom house.
