On April 29, 120 square watermelons produced in Panama and designed in Japan were shipped to American markets.
The square watermelons have already reached Europe and it is hard to imagine that the quintessential summer fruit will be flying off shelves because it comes with a hefty price tag $75 (€56.41) for 6.8kg.
