Property Update: Stamp duty deadline

SELLERS are becoming increasingly nervous as the 19 August deadline for reimposing stamp duty nears. Barratt has decided to extend the non-payment holiday by six weeks as part of its incentive package. But developers are warning that such special deals may not last much longer.
