AN EMERGENCY service to protect home movers against disasters has been launched with a sideswipe against estate agents. Europe Assistance says it checked a score of major chains in the South-east and found only a minority helped ease the pain of moving by offering repair cover or providing lists of recommended removal firms, schools and shops. If agents tried harder to overcame anxiety about moving, homes might sell quicker, it says.
